About the Show

The online show will launch on the 29th of September 2023 and runs until the 31st of December 2023 on our website www.greatsheffieldartshow.co.uk. All of the artwork from the show is displayed online to browse and purchase, except for the Young Artist’s exhibition.

Submitting a Form

The submission form for the show is available to download at the top of this page. You can either download the form, fill it in on your computer and email it back to us at info@enormousart.co.uk, or print it out and fill it in by hand to submit by post to Enormous Art Ltd, 95 Brookhouse Hill, Sheffield, S10 3TE.

You must keep your own printed copy of your completed form.

The last day for online submissions is the 15th of September.

Artwork Specifications

There is no maximum number of works that you may submit. You can submit multiple submission forms per artist. Each submission form can contain up to six works, in any medium.

We do not accept photography, limited edition prints, or giclée prints. You can submit digital art that uses creative digital skills and original ideas.

Frames used must be well-made and finished. We do not accept clip frames or mirror plates. Works on paper must be framed behind glass. Unframed canvases must be tidily finished around the edges. Hung works should have a hanging cord, attached with D-Rings, that cannot be seen when the picture is hung.

You must label each exhibit on the back using the labels provided with this form. Artwork must be framed and labelled before submission.

We will reject works that are not properly presented or finished.

There is no minimum price for submitted work. We do not accept ‘not for sale’ works. Do not use excessively high pricing in order to discourage a sale.

This year we are giving buyers the option to have artwork shipped directly to them. Please indicate on the submission form on the first page of this document that you give consent for us to do this. 2D work with a finished size below 60 x 80 cm, that is not framed behind perspex or glass, will be eligible for shipping. We will be using our Signed For Next Day service, to anywhere in the UK, via APC.

You are responsible for arranging your own insurance for your artwork.

How to Submit

To submit online, you MUST email or send via WeTransfer high resolution copies of your artwork, along with your form, to info@enormousart.co.uk for selection. Please ensure they are clearly labelled so we know which piece is which. These images must be finished works inclusive of the frame (if applicable).

If you are unable to submit your work online yourself, then you can arrange to bring your pieces to Enormous Art Ltd, 95 Brookhouse Hill, Sheffield, S10 3TE, where we will photograph your work for you. Please call us on 0114 230 9800 to organise this.

If your application is successful, you will be contacted to pay your admin fees of £18 (£15 + VAT) per submission form (Up to 6 exhibits £18, up to 12 exhibits £36, etc…). These must be paid before the launch or your work will not be exhibited. We accept cash, card or bank transfer for payments.

When A Picture Sells

When a piece is sold we will contact you promptly. You will then deliver the artwork to our offices at Enormous Art Ltd. 95 Brookhouse Hill, Fulwood, Sheffield, S10 3TE.

We will then either contact the buyer to notify them that the work is available for collection from our offices OR the artwork will be shipped from our offices to the buyer’s address, if they have purchased this option.

We ask that you please be prompt in delivering pictures to us, as we are aiming for turnaround and delivery within one week.

Payment Information

When your picture sells, a commission will be deducted. We will make payments to you of the sale price minus the commission, once the piece has been successfully delivered to the buyer by us. If you provide your bank details, we can pay this directly in to a bank account, otherwise a cheque will be sent.
